Veriant is currently looking for a Systems Administrator for one of our top clients in the Ft. Collins area. You will be responsible for providing IT support to employees and systems and occasional support for setting up new offices.
What You’ll Do:
You will be the go-to technology resource in a new office of a growing company. On a day–to-day basis, you can expect to:
- Manage the configuration of all Windows operating systems.
- Monitor, diagnose, and resolve common operating system problems.
- Assist with the troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of hardware, operating systems, and application software.
- Manage backup and recovery operations.
- Practice network asset management and software license management.
- Propose and implement system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
What You Bring:
You are a well-rounded IT professional who loves to solve problems. You have:
- 2-4 years in technical support, helpdesk, desktop support, system administration, or related experience.
- Strong computer and troubleshooting skills using Windows-based operating systems and Office products.
- Proven ability to install, upgrade, repair, move and replace desktops, laptops, smart phones/tablets and other technical equipment.
- Basic familiarity with data backup best practices, disaster recovery and system imaging.
- Knowledge of networking equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Some familiarity with VoIP including set up and configuration.
