Responsibilities:
- Pay invoices; verify transaction information; scheduling and preparing disbursements.
- Works independently, direction from senior level accountant regarding tasks to be performed.
- Creates and edits spreadsheets; prepares reports.
- Resolves account discrepancies by investigation documentation; issuing stop payments, payments or adjustments.
- Maintains financial security by internal accounting controls and completing data base backups.
- Obtains revenue by verifying transactional information; computing charges and refunds; preparing and mailing invoices.
- Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
- Assumes other responsibilities as delegated by management.
Job Requirements:
- 1 - 3 years bookkeeping, AP/AR and general accounting/bookkeeping required.
- Excellent accounting skills.
- Self-starter who takes on additional responsibilities without direction.
- Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities and good organizational skills.
