Veriant Solutions is currently looking to fill a Project Manager position with one of our best clients in the Greenwood Village, CO area.
What You’ll Do:
In this position, you will manage a highly complex and cross-functional project, including adjusting project scope, timing, and budget. This project will include multiple Engineering, Information Technology, and Software Engineering teams. On a day to day basis, you can expect to:
- Create and manage a test configuration plan
- Ensure project and adjust project plan, and timing, and budgets as needed Coordinate with multiple project managers to assemble overall program plan
- Execute project management processes and methodologies to ensure delivery of project on time.
- Manage plans and teamwork assignments and directs work efforts
- Review integrated project plans, escalating & communicating resource needs, ensuring completion of quality reviews, and resolving issues.
- Track key project milestones and recommend modifications to other Project Managers
- Partner with senior leadership to identify and prioritize opportunities to achieve the goals of the project
What You Bring:
You are a qualified project manager with Agile experience. You understand the technical details of projects and are a great communicator. You have:
- 3-7 years of experience in IT or engineering
- At least 3 years of project or program management experience
- 2 years in the cable or telecommunications industry
- The ability to document, prepare, and deliver data-driven presentations
- Experience synthesizing program status information into meaningful executive level materials
- The ability to influence internal and external key stakeholders and build consensus
- The ability to direct cross-functional and virtual teams with a mixture of direct and dotted-line reporting
- The ability to develop strong working relationships with peers and project members
- Experience managing complex, diverse and QA projects that impact the larger organization
- A thorough understanding of managing QA project budgets
- Knowledge of conducting risk assessments and developing plans for eliminating or mitigating the risks identified
- A Bachelor's in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field
- Wireless networking experience (preferred)
