One of our best clients is looking for a Product Manager in their Greenwood Village office. This is an amazing opportunity to secure a full time position in the telecommunications/cable industry.
What You’ll Do:
The Product Manager will be responsible for all critical executive communication and process from the department. This role will provide leadership throughout the team; building and input gathering will be at the center of a fast paced, highly visible effort. The role will report to the Vice President of Business & Roadmap Planning but will operate in a matrixed environment with numerous key stakeholders.
- Simplify and enhance the customer experience
- Deeply understand industry best practices in product development process specific to the Cable or telecommunications space and translate appropriate steps for unique organization and market position
- Manage the aggregation of departmental dashboards, reports, and roadmap for the department on behalf of the Executive Vice President of Product Operations
- Work with internal engineering organizations to align and produce a consistent development roadmap and view of status
- Utilize internally built software for workforce management to produce meaningful executive reports that help inform business leaders and the financial tracking of resources. Includes partnering with internal HR in support of on/off-‐boarding efforts.
- Develop communication plan for stakeholders and process participants for various internal initiatives. Conduct trainings as necessary on a frequent basis to enable Product employees to self-service using centralized tools
- Act as centralized administrator of Product Business Planning SharePoint
- In partnership with IT, manage Product department computer and test device inventory
- Primary interface with Centralized Procurement organization in the areas of contract and requisition administration and development roadmap
- Ad-‐hoc work will be expected on behalf of Senior Leadership
Who You Are:
- Product Management and/or Product Development Experience Required, preferably in Cable, Telecommunications, Software or Web Services
- Lead large, cross-‐functional teams in order to achieve business goals and results
- Aptitude and eagerness to learn from a new environment and make an impact quickly
- Effectively communicate with all levels of management
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Sense of urgency to achieve business results
Education:
- Undergraduate Degree
- MBA (nice to have, not required)
- Technical Degree in Telecommunications or Operational/Process optimization (preferred)
