Veriant is currently looking for an individual to be a Manager of Provisioning with a top telecommunications company in Herndon, VA. This is a contract to hire opportunity.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading a Provisioning Service team that enacts all customer move, add, change and deletion of services.
What You’ll Do:
Manage an Activations team of Tier II, Tier III, and Team Leads.
- You’ll lead, motivate, supervise, manage and be responsible for the on-time delivery of client products and services and SLAs
- Resolve customer escalations with outstanding verbal communication and written communication
- Work on internal and external projects as directed by leadership team
- Call Center: Management of inbound call teams with metrics of ASA, AHT, Service Levels, and forecasts
- Process and procedure knowledge with experience in reviewing, editing, formalizing, and driving training to the technician level
- Detail oriented in circuit delivery, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and training
- Ticket Management, team management, team dynamics, leadership, and strategic thinking
What You Bring:
Network education:
- Qualified candidates will have intermediate ILEC design and working experience.
- Configuration experience of router services such as DNS, ACL’s, Port Forwarding, NAT & DHCP
- Intermediate Interface knowledge, Error statistics, Event logs, Sync loss & DLCI creation
- Ethernet experience of Half/Full duplex, VLAN, Firewall policies
Additional Qualifications
BA or BS with at least 3 years’ experience or an MBA, MA, MS with at least 2 years’ experience
- Ability to resolve complex issues in creative and efficient ways
- Use good judgment in selecting methods, techniques and criteria of obtaining results
- Determine methods and procedures on new assignments
- Proven record of successfully managing operational teams
