Veriant Solutions is looking for talented Sr Desktop Support Technician for a top client in Tucson, AZ.
What You Bring:
- Extensive experience with first and second level support for complex issues
- Respond to queries for technical assistance in person, via phone, or electronically
- Process documentation experience
- Hardware and software installation experience
- Knowledge of relevant call tracking applications
- Computer peripherals installation experience
- Support and repair experience with both PC, Mac and mobile devices
- Stay current with system information, changes and updates
- Extensive knowledge of relevant software, hardware and other equipment
- Knowledge and experience of customer service practices
- Related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing desktop and help desk support
What You’ll Do:
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
- Manage situations requiring urgent attention
- Provide user training
- Mentor team members
- Provide second level support for complex issues
- Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
- Follow up with users to ensure issue has been resolved
- Gain feedback from user about computer usage
- Perform root cause analysis on recurring problems and suggest mitigation plan
